2009 BELLVILLE STREET FAIR TRUCK
& TRACTOR PULL

General Rules of the Contest
1. Drivers meeting half hour prior
to pull
2. Pull will be held on 2 tracks
3. Weigh ins will begin when the scales arrive
4. Pull order will be set at sign up
a. Order in class will be random
5. $20 hook fee for all classes
6. First puller in each class is the test puller and has the
right to reject their first pull
7. Tractors will go through tech inspection by committee before
the pull
8. Area above and behind the hitch must be clear to hook to sled
9. Only tractors on rubber are eligible, no track tractors, four
wheel drive of dual wheels allowed
10. 75 feet will be allowed per start- 2 starts Maximum
11. Drawbar height
a. Hitch must be 20 or under from ground to point of hook
and no closer than 18 from center of rear axle to point
of hook in all Tractor Classes.
b. Hitch must be a minimum of 48 from the center of the
rear axe and a maximum of 26 High in all Truck Classes.
12. Drawbar must have a hole no smaller the 3-3/4 x 3
cross sectional thickness must be equivalent to 7/8 round stock
13. Weights:
a. (Tractors) No extension booms or weights to exceed more than
13 feet from center of rear axle to furthest point forward.
b. (Trucks) Front weights may not exceed more than 60 from
center of front axle.
14. Steel flywheels are mandatory on any tractor that runs over
3000 rpms
15. Boundaries will be plainly marked and pulling vehicle must
stay within these limits
16. If 2 or more tractors have a full pull, there will be a pull-off
to determine placing (unless a floating finish is decided by
Committee)
17. The use of torque amplifier or power shift will be allowed
18. Any part falling off of the pulling vehicle after being hooked
to the sled will be cause for DQ
19. Flagman has the right to stop any pull that is being done
in and unsafe manner
20. Absolutely no alcoholic beverages permitted
21. The committee shall have full power to decide all questions
arising in connection with the contest subject of the rules and
administration as provided, in any event not covered by the rules,
the committee shall have full power to decide in a manner that
is fairest to the majority.
22. The Bellville Agricultural Society will not be held responsible
for accidents or damages to pulling vehicle, drivers, or spectators.
23. Anyone under the age of 18 must have parent or legal guardians
approval
24. 50% payback to the top 4 in each class, must have 4 to make
a class

ANTIQUE CLASSES: Open to all of Ohio,
Tractors must be 1958 and older.
No cut or altered tires, no speed limit. Tractors may pull twice
per day and not more than once per class.

may pull twice per day and not more than once per class.
6000# Open 18.4x38 tire limit
(Cut tires allowed)
8500# Hot Farm (Cut tires allowed)
10,500# Hot Farm 20.8x38 tire limit (Cut tires allowed)
12,000# Hot Farm 20.8x38 tire limit
15,000# Hot Farm
TRUCK CLASSES: Open to all Ohio
All Street Stock Trucks must be legal
to be driven on public roads at time of pull
8000# Street Stock
Diesel
o Must have helmet and safety belt
o All lights must work on truck
o Must hook from Reese or bumper
o Must have 1 OD clevis with three inch hole
o DOT tires only no studded, no cuts, no chains
o No altered frames of any kind
o Must have insurance and legal tags
o Must have floor in bed of truck
o Must have brakes on all four corners
o Battery must be tied down
6500# Street Stock
Gas
o Must have helmet and safety belt
o All lights on truck must work
o Must hook from Reese or bumper
o Must have 1 OD clevis with 3 hole
o Must have floor in bed of truck
o Must have brakes on all four corners
o Battery must be tied down
o Must have insurance and tags

6200# Run what
you Brung
o This class is designed for high performance 2 & 4 wheel
drive trucks. Open driveline is permitted.
